Former Vermin Haven Claimed By Folks Behind Harry's

New, 1 comment

Inner Sunset: Last we heard from PJ's Oysterbed almost exactly a year ago, the shuttered restaurant was hosting a memorable giant rat orgy. Since then, the space has been gutted but has remained dark. For a while, the hot rumor was that Fresca was moving in, but as it turns out, the new entrants are none other than George Karas and Rick Howard, the serial entrepreneurs from Harry's Bar on Fillmore. The duo has already taken on similar rebirth projects at places like Bruno's and the Owl Tree, so the move makes sense. There's still no word on specifics, but the aforementioned bars might be an indication of the style.

Update: Karas and Howard bought the space but have leased it to Fresca after all.
