Eater Inside: Wexler's

Financial District: Here we have the polished interior of the week-old Wexler's, designed by the same firm that did Bar Bambino. Set in the old Les Amis space, it's a small space, with just ten seats at the bar and less than 50 total. The centerpiece of the space is on the ceiling, but there are Indians in the bathroom, too. Charlie Kleinman is in charge of the kitchen, which has already established a few signature dishes (the pork chop, the 4505 hot dog), and despite the opening media frenzy, primetime reservations have been fairly easy to come by. For any and all further reading, there's plenty of background info on Wexler's down in the Eater Archives.
