More Left Bank Bloodshed: San Mateo Location Down Too

The Peninsula: News of the Left Bank Brasserie closure in Pleasant Hill broke earlier today. Despite what the Left Bank people told us this morning, we've now received word that things are not so well in the Roland Passot Empire, and as it turns out, the San Mateo branch has shuttered too.

The San Mateo location was the youngest Left Bank, though it's been open since 2003. Like its East Bay counterpart, the last day of business was Sunday, and the restaurant is mum regarding what, if anything, will replace it. But yeah, rough week for Roland Passot.
