Over the weekend, Walnut Creek got itself a Red Mango branch, courtesy of Survivor winner Yul Kwon, last seen getting run out of North Beach. And there's a chance that the new froyo shop has gone to the town's head: "Now, [Walnut Creek's] retail and restaurants top Oakland's. They rival the best San Jose can muster. And downtown Walnut Creek is worthy of being in the same conversation as San Francisco and Beverly Hills' famed Rodeo Drive." [CCT]
