EaterWire: Postrio Sets Farewell Dates, Auction Napa Valley Begins, Starbucks Lawsuit Update, More!

UNION SQUARE—Last we heard from Postrio, Wolfgang Puck announced that he would be shuttering his SF outpost; per Le Scoop, the last Postrio dinners will take place June 16 and 17. All kinds of alums (the Town Hall boys, the Gingrasses, etc.) will be in the house, as will the big fella: "Puck will be in the kitchen and the dining room on both evenings, and hopes to remain involved with the restaurant once it reopens." NAPA—The annual Napa Valley Wine Auction gets underway tomorrow night (6/4) with a cocktail party at Etoile at Domaine Chandon. Nopa cocktail overlord Neyah White is bartending and tickets are $30 a pop (get it?). [EaterWire]

CALIFORNIA—State courts have sided with Starbucks in former employees' $86 million tip-sharing lawsuit against the coffee giant: "A California appeals court has overturned last year's $86 million decision against Starbucks, saying the company did not violate state law by allowing shift supervisors to share tips with baristas."
