Western Addition: The corpse of Metro Kathmandu isn't even cold yet, but the 311 Divisadero space is already scheduled to be reborn this Wednesday as District 5, a "California comfort cuisine" eatery. Since the same owners are still running the show, don't expect too much decor change, but the good news for you Kathmandu lovers is that the Everest Momo is still on the menu. The rest of the menu (in full, after the jump) is a bit all over the map—chicken tajine here, spaghetti there—so it'll be interesting to see if they can pull it off, and how/if it evolves into something more focused. The owners also share this plea to the neighborhood: "As we move on to our new venture, in this tough economic times, we request you all to continue your support in the future as well."
