Behold the New, Vendor-Centric Ferry Plaza Market

New, 4 comments

Ferry Building: Right this second, the brand new Thursday marketplace at the Ferry Building is very much underway, as indicated by the many balloon installations gracing the sidewalks there. A few farms are represented—see the list—but the main event, without a doubt, is the vendor lineup. Peruse the above gallery for a quick walk-through, and here are some first impressions: Namu is rocking the Korean tacos (among other items), Pizza Politana had a mobile pizza oven and Laiola's Tacolicious stand had the biggest crowds in the earlygoing. Next week, Ryan Farr's 4505 porkfest joins the fray. And if the early crowds are any indication, the market should play nicely as a midweek special for lunchseekers; oddly enough, the only vendor sans a line was Blue Bottle Coffee.
