1) Noe Valley: With the help of ex-Contigo sous chef Pierre Mange, Lupa's Stefano Coppola has reopened the (very) short-lived City Grill as Bistro 24. The space looks better than it did in its last incarnation, though the layout is mostly the same. 2) SoMa: Similar to the way Four Barrel had a temporary coffee stand prior to fully unveiling itself, Sightglass Coffee is now doing morning coffee and espresso. The 4,000 square-foot mega-coffeehouse and roastery won't be complete until fall, but the makeshift coffee bar is up and running now.
