Oakland: On Monday, Richard Corbo became the latest big name to sign on to the Jack London Square revitalization, joining the likes of Rick Hackett and Daniel Patterson, among others. But in all likelihood, the centerpiece of the project will be the actual marketplace itself, which will cost $300 million and be three times the size of the Ferry Building, making it one of the largest food halls in the country. It's obviously been years in the making, but the above renderings should give a sense of its scope, so please do enjoy the eye candy. NB: Patterson's 3000-square-foot Bracina will be on the hall's ground floor.
