Financial District: None other than Tyler Florence is taking the old Rubicon space, according to 7x7. Head over there for details like the ETA, the "amazing" designer and TyFlo's summer reading list (spoiler: antique menus), but know that it's called Wayfare Tavern and will be modeled after "San Franciscan Bohemain [sic] culture of the late 1890's." Sure, Wikipedia tells us that 1890s SF looked like this, but apparently the FiDi was an artists' hub at that time too. So what could possibly go wrong? And does this mean that TyFlo's delayed Plush Room project is a late-term abortion, or is he now expecting twins?
