Lady Unterman is the first major critic to file on 54 Mint, and echoing the general sentiment so far, the chic yet comfortable Mint Plaza Italian joint is a definite winner: "[54 Mint] is as Italian as a restaurant can get, a place for the lushest Italian wines, the best Italian ingredients, the straightforward presentation of unmistakably Italian dishes and the knowing, gracious, personal, ironic, flirtatious embrace of Italian service ...
