Sonoma Dispatch: West County Grill Back as Pizzavino 707

Sebastopol: Less than a year ago, Jonathan Waxman and Stephen Singer dramatically shuttered the ill-fated West County Grill, the big-name restaurant that was supposed to be the "Chez Panisse of Wine Country." The space immediately went on the market, but after a number of high-profile, potential buyers passed on it, it now seems that Singer—who just happens to be the ex-husband of Alice Waters—is going to be resurrecting the space as Pizzavino 707 in a few weeks. Details are still scarce (some hints can be gleaned from the site), but the PressDem claims that Singer will be a "major player" once again. Neither Waxman nor his wolves appear to be involved.
