Polk Gulch: Don't look now, but a rather monumental comeback just might be in the works on Polk Street. From the looks of the above, Mayes Oyster House will be reborn in the same space that it first inhabited way back in 1867. Though the signage was never removed, the historic Mayes Oyster House transformed into an Ethiopian restaurant earlier this decade (read up on Mayes right here), and since then, the space has been a revolving door, with O'Reilly's Holy Grail and Midpoint both making cameo appearances as well.
