Scar Tissue

New, 3 comments

The Seattle Weekly has a big photo gallery of chefs showcasing their kitchen scars—thankfully, the photos are in black-and-white—and detailing the delightfully-twisted minds of some chefs, like the one who named (and got off on) a two-week-old blister: "The lip-shaped scar on her forearm, which she has nicknamed 'Eddie,' was acquired when she knocked a pot of boiling sugar into a sheet pan of apple tart tatin ... Her immediate response was to laugh. 'It turned into a huge water blister that lasted for two weeks,' she said. 'It was really fun...and sexy.'" Oh chefs. [SW]
