The Mission: Nine months after Mission Street Food began its Lung Shan appearances, it remains a crowded affair and tough seat. Yesterday, MSF overlord Anthony Myint and his cohort threw everyone a curveball and debuted a new, second concept called Mission Burger. At the deli counter in Duc Loi supermarket, Myint is now serving up burgers—made in the fancy, labor-intensive "granulation" style of Heston Blumenthal's burger—on a daily basis starting at noon (except for Thursdays, when attention gets redirected to MSF nights). Early reviews have the burger being a memorable, if greasy/messy, experience.
