North Beach Shuffles: El Raigon Sold, Moving Elsewhere

New, 7 comments

North Beach: Some feared that El Raigon might be on the market, and here's the confirmation: it has been sold. Moving into North Beach's Argentine steakhouse will be the mysterious Don Pisto's, last seen nixing a sale at the old Lobster Shack around the corner. According to El Raigon, the reason for the sale was simple: it was getting too expensive to do business in the city. But the silver lining for Raigon fans is that the steakhouse is hoping resurface in about a year and half outside the city, likely in Wine Country. If all goes to plan, El Raigon will shutter in October to make way for Don Pisto's.
