Happy Endings: Unfazed, Tadich Grill Reopens For Lunch

Financial District: Despite a two-alarm fire that shut down the entire block yesterday morning, Tadich Grill will indeed be back open today at 11am sharp. Damages—centered back in the kitchen and the culprit flue—have shot up exponentially from original estimates of $20K all the way up to $160K. But again, the city's oldest restaurant will thankfully be back on track this morning. Hopefully, this entire episode will teach SF a good lesson: to appreciate Perbacco next door, because that was close.
