The Mission: The building on the northeast corner of 23rd and Valencia has recently erected all kinds of scaffolding in order to get a new paint job. Normally, this turn of events wouldn't be particularly notable ... except for the fact that somewhere beneath that monstrosity, Beretta occupies the ground floor of said building. The building's paint job is expected to last a few weeks, meaning that Beretta will likely suspend daytime outdoor seating for a bit. Probably more notably, given the restaurant no-resy policy and no-standing-at-the-bar policy, the necessary Beretta ritual of waiting outside may be a little more interesting. But hey, if it rains, you're covered.
