The American branch of Slow Food has appointed a new chairman of the board: Napa winemaker Chris Carpenter. He's been involved with the movement for over a decade, and is fittingly described as a "winemaker for a few limited production, upscale Napa Valley wineries, including Cardinale and Lokoya." [NVR]
