As she sometimes does, occasional Chronicle contributor Carey Sweet filed the dining review in today's Datebook, a standard two-star take on Balboa Cafe. But a sharp-eyed reader makes an excellent observation: Ms. Sweet's photo is plastered all over her personal website. True, it's not an earth-shattering reveal, but nonetheless, North Bay restaurants that may be subject to a non-Bauer review (or even a 96Hours feature) still might want to take special note, because once they're out and about, "Chronicle critics make every attempt to remain anonymous."
