The Shutter: Curse Strikes Again, Tajine Ends Heights Stint

New, 7 comments

Russian Hill: People, never doubt the power of curses. Back in May, local favorite Tajine reemerged in the Heights nightclub space to the delight of many. Since then, the new Tajine has pulled decent crowds and received a very encouraging review from L'Unterman, but alas, the curse of 2080 Van Ness proved too much to overcome. Chef/owner Mohammed Ghaleb says that they had unfortunate lease/contract issues with the powers that be, which eventually forced them to pull the plug on the operation. Along with thanking all his patrons, Ghaleb adds that he's currently looking for another location in the city.
