1) Pac Heights: Plenty has been written about today's two big openings—which happen to be around the corner from each other—so this will be kept short and sweet, since most details can be perused in the Eater Archives. SPQR returns tonight after its fortnight hiatus, complete with reservations, Matthew Accarrino's new menu, and a refreshed look. 1911 Fillmore Street, between Bush and Pine; (415) 771-7779?; website [EaterWire]
2) Pac Heights: A few doors down on Bush, Out the Door is finally up and running. Read up on Phan's latest here, here, here and here. 2232 Bush Street, near Fillmore; (415) 923-9575; website [EaterWire]
3) The Castro: One place that hasn't made as many headlines as the two is Chilango, which opened a few days ago in the old Azteca space on Church. The chef is a vet of Mexico DF, and in a refreshing twist on SF's myriad taquerias, is cooking traditional Mexico City fare. Instead of burritos, the menu is rife with huaraches, ceviches, sopes, and tacos on handmade tortillas. 235 Church Street, between Market and 15th [EaterWire]
