Patxi's, Yotopia, Ducroix, MORE!

Spot some fresh plywood on your block? Do share with the class.

1) The Marina: A tipster sends along a progress report from the imminent Patxi's offshoot on Fillmore and Lombard. It's still a ways off, but taking shape quickly. The neon sign is on at night and it would appear that two levels are in the works. [PLYWOOD]

2) The Mission: The evolution of 22nd Street will continue with Mission Minis opening soon enough, but also getting extremely close to opening is Yotopia, the froyo joint going in next door to Boogaloo's. The interior is shaping up to look like pretty much every other froyo joint in the city. [POST-PLYWOOD]

3) Financial District: Right off the corner of Sacramento and Kearny, signage and awnings have officially appeared at Restaurant Ducroix. A look inside the old Los Socios space reveals a dozen or so tables and French art on the walls. Anyone know anything? [PLYWOOD]

4) North Beach: Finally, a bit of mystery plywood: in the old La Parilla space on the high-profile corner of Columbus and Broadway (right next to City Lights), there's new neon signage up advertising Pizza By the Slice. The windows are still papered over, but it would be yet another quick service pizza place in the Broadway Strip vicinity. So, just what the neighborhood needs! [PLYWOOD]
