CAV Does Tacos, Quince's New Wine Series, The Eagle For Sale

HAYES VALLEY—Now that CAV Wine Bar has a shiny new chef in John Maher (formerly of Aqua), it's implementing Industry Nights on Mondays, starting tonight. From 9PM to 12AM, they'll be offering $2 tacos and $2 cans of Tecate. Update: Just to be clear, the Monday "family meal" menu changes weekly. Next week: $2 prime beef and BBQ Pork sliders. JACKSON SQUARE—Over the course of 2010, Quince will host an ongoing wine and dinner series called "In Residence." The festivities kick off on January 21 with a Joe Bastianich cameo that will feature a six-course tasting menu paired with Bastianich wines. [EaterWire]
