The CoCo Times visits the six-month-old Five, where it would appear that Scott Howard is starting to hit his stride. The review is a big rave, showering the Berkeley hotel restaurant with a lofty 3.5 stars and an explosion of pot roast praise: "I've been waiting 18 months for a single bite of restaurant food to delight me as much as the simple avocado toast I ate at Camino in 2008. I found a close competitor in Howard's short ribs 'pot roast.' Although short ribs are overplayed right now, these were the best I've had ...
