Defending Alice

2010_01_kummer.jpgAs expected, in the wake of the rabblerousing article earlier this week, The Atlantic's food honcho—and Alice Waters buddy—Corby Kummer comes to the defense of the Edible Schoolyard, kind of. In the end, it seems like everyone's going to have to agree to disagree on philosophical differences: "School gardens might not have been proven, yet, to make students get higher scores. But they will make students lead richer lives--and likely better-educated ones too." [The Atlantic via Eater National]
