Aidells Departing Ferry Building, Pervy Goats and More!

FERRY BUILDING—Despite having a stand at the Ferry Building for 17 years, Aidells is getting the boot at the end of the month. According to CUESA and CW Nevius, the booth eviction is happening because "[CUESA's] preference is to provide opportunities for smaller, still developing businesses." Which makes little to no sense. Update 1/20: CUESA writes in to clarify that all market sellers participate on an annual contract basis, that they don't deal with the indoor businesses, and that they determined Aidells does not meet a number of their criteria. Which makes much more sense than the "too popular" reason. [Chron]

CALIFORNIA—A SoCal strip club was terrorized over the weekend ... by a goat. As seen on surveillance cameras, the goat stared at its reflection in the doors "for hours" and then smacked the door of Lynx Gentlemen's Club in Coachella repeatedly until he smashed it, proceeding to cause roughly $2,000 in damage. But the best part of the story is that the goat "first visited the club" the day before, only to be denied admission. [Desert Sun via SFist]
