Gallery Lounge Sold and Being Recast as Bar Basic

Down on Brannan, a tipster points out that Gallery Lounge is currently under wraps. As it turns out, Gallery Lounge shan't be coming back, as it's been sold to a new group of owners, who have renamed the place Bar Basic and added the motto "back to basics." They're currently revamping the interior and from the looks of the football events, it looks like the bar will take on more sporty, less artsy vibe. At least it's not an ultralounge, right? There's even been a taco truck sighting.
