SOMA - This weekend, bluegrass band Afternoon Delight Social Band will be playing during brunch at Hotel Utah. The historical music venues offers weekend items like eggs benedict, baby breakfast burrito and something called a trash heap scramble all with optional sides of sausage, ham, bacon, turkey patty or veggie patty from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. SOMA EXTRA - So You Think You Can Dance emcee Mary Murphy will oversee this year's Heart of SoMa 2010 community event on Tuesday, October 26. SAC-TOWN - The three Sacramento businesses: Dive Bar, Pizza Rock and District 30 from Tony Gemignani of Tony’s Pizza Napoletana have delayed opening until January. But we're heartened by news of the Dive Bar's theme, played out by a 40-foot-long, 7,500-gallon saltwater tank "fully loaded with water, mermaids and interior furnishings" and servers -- ahem merpeople -- that've already been hired.
