Two new Mission haunts recently started serving brunch. File these puppies away for the weekend and remember to share your early reviews if you've already tried them. And if there's a new brunch that's come across your radar, please do share with the class.

1) The Sycamore's new weekend service includes star items like carnitas benedictos: housemade corn sopa topped with carnitas, poached egg, jalepeno hollandaise and pico de gallo; pork belly donuts and bottomless mimosas ($10). Check out the full menu here. Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. [EaterWire]

2) Kitchenette has started offering brunch and lunch items for Heart on Saturdays and Sundays. Items on rotation include a Kakuni pork belly BLT, buckwheat pancakes and 4505 maple sausages. Owner Jeff Segel tells us Austin-style egg tacos are almost always offered. They're the most popular item by far and can be ordered with migas or chorizo. Mission Mission has a fuzzy pic of said tacos should you wish to tease yourself further. Heart's entire regular menu is also available during brunch hours, which are noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. [Mission Mission, EaterWire]
