Spoonbar.jpgThe Bauer Buzz pays a visit to Spoonbar, the new restaurant in Healdsburg's H2 Hotel to find "[Scott Beattie's] cocktail program far outstrips the food created by Rudy Mihal, who previously owned Odyssey in nearby Windsor." The minuses ("chewy" beef skewers, "limp and flabby" steak, chicken under a brick) overshadow the plusses (roasted beet tartare, thick-cut fries) ending in a 1.5 star tally for food. But "perfectly crafted drinks and a few nibbles" pull things up to two stars overall. [Chron]
