Cotogna Cocktail List; Brixton Updates; Citizen Cake; More!

JACKSON SQUARE - Quince chef Mike Tusk's causal offshoot, Cotogna, is all set to open November 4th. We've got lots on the open-flame-centric menu and clean interior plans here in the archives. Now lead bartender Jason “Buffalo” LoGrasso -- who has worked with all the cool kids around town at places like Alembic and Rickhouse -- has passed on the cocktail list from his "progressive craft bar program." Bottled sodas and beer both local and imported will also be on offer. [EaterWire]

PAC WHITE - The return of Elizabeth Falkner's Citizen Cake in new Fillmore Street digs is also coming up on November 7th. A newly built pastry counter will greet visitors like it did at the Hayes Valley location. Also, Amy Glaze, formerly at Circa, has been hired as the chef de cuisine. Since she just came on, the menu is still a bit of a work in progress. And it sounds like booze won't be available when they open. More soon. [Tablehopper]

COW HOLLOW - Since shedding her interior, the former Left at Albuquerque now has a new name: The Brixton, and a slated opening: mid-December. Hours will be likeable: all day, every day from lunch until late night. The menu shall be American, as we mentioned, and also affordable and locally sourced. Chef is still TBD. Adam Snyder, who's also a partner at The Ambassador in the 'Loin, will direct a classic cocktail program. Obviously there will be beer and wine too. The latest word on the vibe is rock and roll with a good playlist. It's named after the famous South London music venue 02 Academy, Brixton, so they've gotta do that justice. [EaterWire]

RUSSIAN HILL - Mid-November is going to be big, people, as Alexander Alioto's executive chef debut, Seven Hills, is also planning to open at that time. They installed new banquettes last week and are still doing quite a bit of work on the interior. Art work from Valerie Scott will be featured on the walls and available for purchase when they open on or around November 15th. [EaterWire]

BAYVIEW - Also British grocery store chain and Trader Joe's competitor, Fresh & Easy, just inked the deal for its outpost at Third Street and Carroll Avenue. [SF Biz Times]

BERKELEY - Candy spectacular Powell’s Sweet Shoppe will be opening its 18th shop(pe) on November 20th. [ISSF]

PETALUMA - A second version of Santa Rosa's Rosso Pizzeria is coming to Petaluma. [ISSF]
