Station 1 In Woodside; Tataki Sushi in Noe Valley

As Michael Mina puts the finishing touches on his fifth outpost of Bourbon Steak opening tomorrow for dinner service in Union Square, here are a few other notable newcomers to tide you over.

StationOne.jpgWOODSIDE - Station 1 restaurant opened September 30th a couple of doors down from The Village Pub. The owners are Kristi Borrone of Menlo Park's Cafe Borrone and her husband Zu Tarazi. As per our tipster, former Commis chef de cuisine Zack Freitas is commandeering the restaurant's three-course $49 fixed price menu. He even sent in this slightly foggy PDF of the menu they've used to build steam. But all listed items are changing today. Also of interest: a menu of $11 "legit" cocktails with options like Cooper's Bright (gin, St. Germain, grapefruit liqueur, lemon, champagne). The wine list offers three- and six-ounce pours to suit the multi-course arrangement here. Hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. And without further ado, the Facebook. [EaterWire]

TatakiLogo.jpgNOE VALLEY - Another outpost of sustainable sushi eatery Tataki opened its doors on Church Street this past weekend. Since prior tenant Deep Sushi/Deep Modern Izakaya left them a robata grill, now a yakitori section has been added to the menu. Check out Lady Hopper's report for the full-and-juicy reveal.
