LAGNIAPPE - Chef Justin Simoneaux is currently in the kitchen at Absinthe, gearing up for the opening of Boxing Room early next year. So it's only fitting that he offer a preview of his forthcoming NOLA-inspired fare in Absinthe's private dining room. On Monday, October 18, a four-course, prix-fixe $35 menu will be offered from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. with wine pairings for an additional $15. Reserve by calling Vanessa Harris: 415-551-1453. [EaterWire]
