Bay Area Picks From Food & Wine, Town & Country and More

As 2010 dwindles, the amount of listicles, year-end roundups and such is on the rise. Here are a few of the latest and greatest from the Eater Inbox for your consideration. Think some of this awesome and some, absurd? Do weigh in down in the comments section.

F%26WHeader.jpgFOOD & WINE - The ten best restaurant dishes of 2010 have been released and there are three local inclusions: the lamb salad with fregola from Osteria Stellina in Point Reyes, vegan charcutrie from Gather in Berkeley and the papardelle with sea urchin and cauliflower from Saison. There's only one dish from New York -- duck from Torrisi -- where Food & Wine's editorial team is based, so this is certainly something to be proud of. [Food & Wine]

T%26CLogo.jpgTOWN + COUNTRY - The December issue now on newsstands has a piece entitled "The Quietest Restaurants in the World" including soft-sounding spots in 15 top dining destinations. Local mentions include Acquerello, bushi-tei, Fino, Fleur de Lys, Quince and Spruce. [EaterWire]

TTSF.jpgTASTING TABLE Our local edition of this epicurean daily e-newsletter published its take on the the best cocktails of 2010, curated by consummate local cocktailian Camper English. The fifteen picks include old favorites like the Tommy's margarita and new shining stars like the The Candace, with cantalope, vodka and Sauvignon Blanc, from Prospect. [TTSF via Alcademics]
