Benu chef-owner Corey Lee is looking to unleash a (mostly) Mexican street food operation on the streets of SoMa. The idea sprung up as a way to turn around all the produce the restaurant can't use since they're only open for dinner five nights a week. Once things are squared away with the Planning Department, look out for Benu's late night edition from 1:30-2:30 a.m. on Saturday nights outside the restaurant on Hawthorne Street. [The Feast]
