Cyrus Landlord-Owner Crisis Averted, At Least For Now

Today Le Mars Hotel owner David Fink tells Signore Luccehesi that Cyrus chef-owner Doug Keane misunderstood the eviction warning he served to the restaurant last week. On Monday, Keane said he had tried several times to find out where and who to pay rent to since the new ownership took over. But Fink insists today that there was no confusion as to where to pay rent and "the hotel and restaurant should work together." The intent of the foreboding note of a few days back has been effectively clouded over with political niceties and, thankfully, Keane was able to pay the rent on Monday.
