HAYES VALLEY - The news leaks in the Eater SF comments section a bit ago might just be right-on. Ryan Farr and his 4505 Meats will likely be involved when the project starts rolling out in December and they're even hosting a little appearance on the future site next week. Look for open-faced turducken sandwiches, their famous cheeseburgers and chicharrones Tuesday and Wednesday during the lunch hour. [ISSF]
SFMOMA - A new exhibit opens to the public tomorrow entitled "How Wine Became Modern: Design + Wine 1976 to Now." It delves into the development and cultural significance of wine over the past 35 years. The WSJ has this interesting article on the matter. [WSJ]
PRINT MEDIA - Benu was included in Bon Appetit magazine's "Top Celebration Restaurants" listicle. [Bon Appetit]
COCHON 555 - The annual ode to all things heritage pig has released its 2011 tour dates. SF is last in the lineup on June 5.
DOGPATCH - A Hamburger Today puts Serpentine's burger the top tier of SF burgers: "the Serpentine burger is definitely fancy-pants—pickles are housemade, cheeses are upscale, and purveyors are proudly name-dropped...at $12.50...I'd say it's worth every penny." [AHT]
