According to The Feast, Tartine is launching a new bread shop at 563 Valencia, in a space adjacent to Bar Tartine. Owner Chad Robertson says the focus will be on making bread for seasonal, vegetable-driven sandwiches at Bar Tartine. For those of us who just want to eat loaf after loaf of delicious bread, they will also be available for purchase. Phew. Build out begins in February 2011, with plans to open their doors in April.
