Farina Plans Genoa Branch, New SF Chefs' Start Date Delayed

New, 2 comments

After an unceremonious departure, Chef Paolo Laboa has been hired back at Farina, but this time around he'll be starting up the restaurant's first outpost in the motherland: Genoa, Italy to be precise. Also on tap: a healthy dose of "chef mentoring," building a global vision for the brand and -- you guessed it -- Farina Las Vegas!! Now it sounds as if that new brother-and-sister chef team of Fabrizo and Serena Rebollini won't be starting here this Fall, but in 2011 instead. Luckily not much will be overtly affected at the Mission restaurant, besides, of course, that retail line of sauces and "the very best" of Italy menu overhaul we mentioned earlier.
