Caffe Pascucci Construction Shots, Claudine, Dell Uva, More!

SOMA - We linked to the rendering of Caffe Pascucci's in-the-works first American branch last week. And now we bring you a plywood appropriate slideshow (above) of the space that will be. Expect over 20 coffee beverages, yogurt-based smoothies, homemade soups, salads and sandwiches when it opens around January 8th. [EaterWire]

FIDI - Franck LeClerck who co-owns Gitane and Cafe Claude on Claude Lane has put in an application for Claudine nearby at 401 Bush Street. We remember conversations with LeClerck years ago wherein he expressed dreams of a casual European-style cafe. It could possibly be a quick-service deal, but we've yet to hear back from LeClerck's people on this matter. More on this as it develops. [EaterWire, GrubStreet, Earlier]

FILLMORE - Nan Korean Dining Bar, which shuttered in Japantown in 2006, is reopening at 1560 Fillmore Street where Taste of Thai used to be. [EaterWire, GrubStreet, earlier]

OUTER MISSION - Burrito Justice drops a hint that a second outpost of North Beach wine bar Dell Uva may be coming to the former SoCha Cafe spot at 3235 Mission Street. The manager on duty today confirms they're in landlord negotiations for the space but nothing is definite yet. If they do open this second outpost it will be very similar in style to the first Dell Uva with necessary tweaks for the neighborhood and the space. [Burrito Justice, EaterWire]
