El Bulligeddon

2010_01_fasmall.jpgSo, Ferran Adria had quite the busy weekend. To quickly recap: late Friday, Adria told the NY Times that El Bulli would close permanently in 2012, then he told Spanish newspapers that the NYT had misinterpreted his statements and that El Bulli would still reopen as planned, and then he circled back to tell the NYT that El Bulli will reopen as an academy, with public meals as a possibility. In other words, Ferran Adria has now been crowned as "the Brett Favre of the restaurant world." [Eater National]
