Patty U saunters down the Peninsula this week to San Mateo's Kokko, a three-month-old Japanese joint devoted mainly to chicken skewers. Full of Japanese patrons, the pub-like Kokko serves all kinds of grilled chicken—from gizzard to thigh—in addition to other dishes like deep-fried chicken nuggets and rare beef tongue. Bonus: the cooks on the grill there are "sexy." So, there's that too. [SFE]
