Napa's Border Already Gone; Franklin Square Doneski Too

New, 1 comment

1) Downtown Napa: As noted by the Napa blogs, The Border—which replaced Tuscany in May—has already disappeared. In its place on the corner of First and Main, as of this weekend? Tuscany again. The Jacinto brothers who helped open The Border left a months back, and are currently at work at opening C Casa taqueria in the Oxbow Market. [EaterWire]

2) Oakland: In other closure news, Uptown Oakland's Franklin Square restaurant and wine bar shuttered for good last weekend after one last Valentine's Day hurrah. The spinoff of Luka's Taproom across the street opened a little over two years ago. Sweets to the sweet, farewell. [EaterWire]
