An organization by the name of the American Academy of Pediatrics is calling for "sweeping changes" to ... hot dog design. Spurred on by the hard-hitting fact that 17% of all food-related chokings are caused by hot dogs, the AAP has demanded that the shape of hot dogs be "redesigned" to stop them from lodging in kids' throats.
