Behold the first looks inside Georges, the upcoming sustainable seafood spot headed into the former London Wine Bar spot in the Financial District. As of today, chef/owner Elias Bikahi—also of Nook, Valentina and Caffe Sapore—is planning to open his 55-seater for lunch and dinner starting on March 15. The raw bar will be featured prominently, and seeing as how it will be smackdab in the middle of the Financial District, Georges will try to capture the post-work happy hour crowd with its full bar (and oysters). Oh, and per Bay Area restaurant law, there's a very strong emphasis on sustainability and recycled materials.
