2009_10_nopasmall.jpgThe Bold Italic tags along with the industry crowd for an evening to see where the chefs, waiters and company are eating/drinking. It's a nice glance into the small circle of restaurant workers that take care of each other, and even though there's nothing incredibly revelatory in the piece (Nopa, Madrone, Heaven's Dog, Beretta and The Residence all get name-dropped), the best part might be where Bar Tartine chef Chris Kronner takes the writer for some (late) nights on the town.
