Scary news from Potrero Hill, where Chez Maman was robbed at gunpoint during dinner service last night. According to crime reports, two men wearing ski masks and armed with handguns stormed into the 18th Street bistro at roughly 9:30PM and proceeded to rob both the restaurant and the diners inside. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the brazen takeover robbery, but police continued to question the patrons until past 11PM.

Later in the evening, police arrested a man who just robbed a 7-11 on Ocean Avenue in what is believed a connected crime. Chez Maman plans to open per normal for lunch service today, hopefully without the multitude of cop cars.
