Star Guest Chefs to Share Taco Renditions at Tacolicious

While the restaurant version enters its third month on Chestnut, the original Tacolicious outpost at the Ferry Building's Thursday market is still around too and making some waves.

Starting next Thursday (3/4) and lasting over the next few weeks, a bevy of well-known local chefs will each individually descend upon the market stand at Tacolicious for a day wherein each chef will share his/her concept of a taco. On the lineup are folks like Delfina's Craig Stoll, Betelnut's Alex Ong and former Laiola toque Mark Denham (sidenote: who is getting very close to finding a Mission space for his upcoming Bishop). It's just like a Top Chef quickfire challenge, except that it's not a competition and proceeds from the special tacos will go to CUESA's education programs.
