Due sometime in mid-February is lovely St. Helena's newest restaurant, Farmstead. It's part of the Long Meadow Ranch Winery and well, is expected to take the whole farm-to-table movement to the next level. Not only is it housed in a former nursery barn, diners at the 110-seater will actually be able to eat in the farm: "During warm weather months, diners will be able to enjoy alfresco meals among espalied apple trees as well as drinks at an outdoor bar shaped liked potting tables, adjacent to an authentic wood-fired forge."
